Job Description

$75000 - $85000 / year

The Club Designer will be a core member of the development team, and will be responsible for managing all elements of the design process for Chuze fitness and assists the Director of Club Design (DCD) in the creation and enhancement of the club’s identity. This includes new openings, remodels, and ongoing design updates and refreshes. This position requires operational excellence and the ability to efficiently plan and prioritize across multiple projects, regions and partners. The club designer will join Chuze Fitness in a period of high growth, and must be able to operate at and plan for scale - while keeping priority on positive member experience, alignment with the Chuze Fitness brand, and high-quality, cost-effective, durable design choices.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in interior design, architecture or related field (Required)
  • Efficient in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Illustrator and/or photoshop (required)
  • 5 years of experience with customer-centric brands with complex builds (in fitness industry a plus)
  • Self-starter who is motivated to prioritize, execute and adapt in fast-paced growing environment 
  • Attention to detail and ability to coordinate across multiple departments
  • Strong project management skills
  • Highly organized, process-driven, and precise
  • Excellent communicator with strong presentation skills

Essential Physical Requirements

  • Touring the club: walking and climbing stairs
  • Bending, kneeling, and repetitive arm movement
  • Standing for long periods
  • Repetitive phone work
  • Typing and computer operations
  • Ability to life at least 30 lbs
